1. Share Folder with the New Account

First, you need to share the folder from your current Google Drive account with the new account.

a. Select a Folder

Navigate to your Google Drive and select a folder you want to copy.

b. Share with the New Account

Click on the “Share” button on the toolbar.

Enter the email address of the new Google Drive account, set the permission to “Editor,” and click “Send.”

2. Access Shared Files from the New Account

Switch to the new Google Drive account to accept the shared files.

a. Go to “Shared with me”

In the new Google Drive account, navigate to the “Shared with me” section in the left-hand sidebar.

b. Select Shared Folder

Double click on the shared folder to enter and select all files.

c. Make a Copy

Right-click on the selected files and folders and choose “Make a copy.” This action will create copies of all shared files and folders in the shared folder.

3. Organize Copied Files

Move the copied files and folders to their desired locations within the new Google Drive account.

a. Select the Copies

Select the copied files and folders (the names will start with “Copy of”).

b. Move to Desired Location

Click on the “Move” icon on the toolbar and select the desired location within the new Google Drive account.

c. Confirm Move

A dialogue box “Change who has access?” will appear. Click on “Move” to move the copy of files in your other Drive.
