1. Locate the Pictures
In Google Drive, navigate through your files and folders to find the pictures you want to download. We will use seven different photos for this example. To download multiple pictures, hold the Ctrl key (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) while clicking to select multiple files.
2. Download the Pictures
With the pictures selected, right-click on one of them and click the Download option in the context menu. Since we are downloading multiple pictures, Google Drive will zip the files together.
3. Save the Pictures on Your Computer
Depending on your browser settings, you might be prompted to select a location on your computer to save the pictures. Choose a destination folder where you want to save them. If you’re not prompted to choose a location, the pictures will automatically be saved to your default Downloads folder.
4. Extract the Zip File
Right-click on the zip file and select Extract All… or Extract Here (depending on your operating system). Follow the on-screen instructions to choose a destination folder for the extracted files. If you don’t specify a different location, the files will usually be extracted in the same folder as the zip file. The click Extract to start the process.
5. Check the Pictures
Open the destination folder where you extracted the files. Double-click on the pictures to open and verify that they have been downloaded and are viewable.
